Notes: Cyrus began much like Richard. The Advance destroyed his town when he was young. However, this is where the similarity ends. Cyrus brought together the left behind children with his natural leadership ability and intelligence and started causing trouble for the Advance. The rebellion eventually took notice and brought him under their guidance. Cyrus proved to be a prodigy with the sword, and he was granted the right to be the youngest squadron leader yet.

Specie: Human

Notes: Gerard is the oldest member of Cyrus's squadron, but still has experience well beyond his years. Thus, the members often call him grandpa. In truth however, he is not that old, and Cyrus is the only one young enough to reasonably be his son. Of course, his grandfatherly personality does not help this much. To Gerard's advantage, this has caused many enemies to underestimate him. For someone to survive what he has been through, he had to be challenging to beat.

Name: Owen Silvertusk

Specie: Human

Notes: Owen could very well be the poster child for the rebel hide-away training facilities. He practically grew up there and, as such, knows how to fight. Or should I say, plow though anything that stands in his way? He concentrated more on defense as one can guess from the giant shield on his back; his weapon has been enchanted so that it can pivot around his bracer. Owen does not have the raw talent that Cyrus and Gerard have, but makes up for it be sheer determination and long hours of practice.

Family: Silvia Stonewall (wife); Dahlia Stonewall (daughter)

Notes: Titus is the head of Rampartway school/training grounds. His home was one of the first to be taken by the Advance, and he remembers the Advances beginnings from when he was a child. Titus fought for a long time against the Advance, but as his age started to hold him back, he thought it better to train the next generation of defenders.

Name: William Whitewood

Specie: Human

Notes: As head merchant of Rampartway, William has quite a bit of pull in the community. However, he is also the one generally going to pick up the supplies outside the village. He has a knack for finding what the town needs and more importantly getting back with it. The children like him for the free candy that is sneaks to them, and the adults like him for his jolly personality (and fulfilling requests).

Name: Xavier Farash

AKA: Bandit's-Demise X, Sole-survivor Xavier

Specie: Human with an elf a few generations back (of course, with elves, a few generations could very well be a thousand years)

Notes: Three things remain of his elven ancestry: a gift with the bow, better than normal tolerance to cold, and a lessening of the detriments of aging (overall lifespan is not much different from a normal human's). So with his markmanship, one can see why him “missing” Richard was called into question. I point to his nicknames to explain this. Among the rebellion he is know as Bandit's Demise X. He received this because he joins the bandits to report their movements so that eventually they may be ambushed. This is how he gets his second nickname, Sole-Survivor Xavier. Everyone else calls him this, thinking that he is just the luckiest man ever since he always "gets away."
